Finding the perfect Cadence Subwoofer for your audio experience can be challenging. There are plenty of choices out there.
Their prices and features vary widely, so deciding on the best one can be hard even for the most experienced users. Fortunately, a little research will open a lot of doors and lead to a wise choice.
The Cadence subwoofer is among the front running models in this field. Whether it comes to competitions, a personal audio experience or just specs, these models are likely to change your overall perception over this industry.
There are more generations out there, so you should do your homework. Now, what do you need to know?
Features of Cadence Subwoofer
The Cadence subwoofer is most commonly used in the automotive industry. To a lot of people, music is everything in their cars.
There are also plenty of vehicle owners who participate in all kinds of audio competitions. At that level, their quality standards are exquisite.
The amplifiers are among the best in this industry. From Monoblock Q Series Class D to Olympia Class D, your options are quite diversified.
Many of these amplifiers earn a series of awards during all kinds of competitions, so they are obviously more than helpful for your basic necessities. Even if you want to go pro, this is probably your best option when it comes to selecting the best car subwoofer, i will no doubt go for cadence anytime.
The frequency response is similar in most models – 10Hz to 250Hz. You might find other subwoofers with up to 500Hz.
You will probably never reach to 250Hz anyway. Even when it comes to a deep bass sound (which means a total abuse), you will barely get to 120Hz.
A Cadence subwoofer is one of those quality units that can deliver a low bass too, which is what makes the difference in such tests.
In other words, you got more than you will ever need, so there is no point to exaggerate and pay a fortune on other random subwoofers with a higher frequency response.
You have probably heard a lot about watts in subwoofers too. When it comes to these accessories, the power is measured differently from amplifiers – how much of it is sent to the subwoofer.
The RMS power defines the continuous power, which almost always exceeds 500W or 600W. On the other hand, the peak power will go up to over 2,000W, yet it is used for short bursts only.
In terms of sensitivity, most systems exceed 90dB.
Pros of Cadence Subwoofer

It might be hard to find all these in a general product, but it is not impossible if you conduct some research.
Cadence Acoustics FXB12SA.v2 Single 12″ 800W Super Slim Car Audio Subwoofer Super Active Enclosure is among one of the best rated general subwoofers.
It has all the required attributes, but it also pushes them to a higher level. You got everything, but what do you need to know first?
When interested in an ergonomic and compact enclosure, you focus on the size. However, make sure that you do not sacrifice the performance then.
This model will not let you do it. It has a slim sealed enclosure construction – just 7” in thickness. Overall, it measures 24.5x7x15.3”.
It does feel a bit heavy for this size though – 34 pounds. Quality is never lightweight though. The design is friendly and suitable for most cars too.
Cars today are smaller and smaller, so space becomes a real problem. A bulky subwoofer may ruin the whole functionality of the trunk, but this one will certainly not.
The design is worth some attention as well. The dust cap is made of 3D molded acrylic. It is also sleek and glossy. The front panel is just as attractive.
It is entirely made of synthetic leather, but it also comes with an elegant black texture. As for the carpet, users will love the aviation grade design.

Apart from the actual enclosure, the subwoofer is worth some attention too. Power handling is incontestable. The RMS (constant) power goes up to 400W.

In conclusion, Cadence Acoustics FXB12SA.v2 Single 12″ 800W Super Slim Car Audio Subwoofer Super Active Enclosure is powerful, good looking and space efficient. What else do you need from a subwoofer?
Finding a quality subwoofer might be a little tricky at first, especially if you are new.
More experienced people may know precisely what they need, but newbies will find it hard to decide.
Most specialists recommend starting your research with the best rated units in commerce though.
This is when Cadence Acoustics UD12D4 12-Inch 550 Watt Peak Dual Voice Coil 4 Ohm Subwoofer kicks in to make your life easier.
This vehicle subwoofer is mostly advertised to be a general one. It is great for everyday music, but it can just s well work wonders at competitions. So, what should you know about it?
Power handling is one of the first things you have to pay attention to. Subwoofers often come with two different types of power among the main specifications – RMS and peak.
The RMS power is rated at 275W – more than enough to barely hear yourself. This is the constant power limit though.
When it comes to the peak, you got two times more – 550W. This standard is for short bursts only, so you cannot maintain this level over long periods of time.
The frequency response is another major specification – and a pretty impressive one. You got 25Hz to 1.5kHz. From many points of view, this subwoofer outweighs its competition.
Most of them stop at 500Hz. Unless you go to competitions or like deep music, chances are you will not really need 1.5kHz.
However, it is good to know that you can count on it. If you like audio competitions, it might be hard for someone to equal this kind of musical depth.
The sensitivity is not to be overlooked either. At this point, the Cadence subwoofer goes up to 92dB at 1w/1m SPL. It is worth noting the 4 OHM DVC (Dual Voice Coil) as well.
Not sure whether this subwoofer will match you? Make sure that you got enough room for it. It needs 7.24” in depth for proper mounting.
In terms of weight, it weighs 11.1 pounds, but it also measures 14x14x8.8”. It comes with a two year warranty for repairs and replacements if needed. Given the quality standards of this manufacturer, you are less likely to need it anyway.
- High frequency response goes up to 1.5kHz
- Good looking – orange chrome electroluminescent cone
- 275W of RMS – continuous power
- Conex spider with built-in tinsel leads
- Easy to install
- Might be a little too powerful for the average user who likes low volume music while driving
As a short final conclusion, Cadence Acoustics UD12D4 12-Inch 550 Watt Peak Dual Voice Coil 4 Ohm Subwoofer turns out to be a handy subwoofer for pretty much any vehicle out there.
It makes no difference if you like your music loud or you enjoy attending audio competitions. This model is not just powerful, but it also comes with a good frequency and a similar sensitivity, not to mention the deluxe appearance.
Cadence Acoustics S2W15D4.V2 4 Ohm 1600W 15″ Subwoofer
One of the best products I have ever had the chance to buy is the Cadence Acoustics S2W15D4.V2 4 Ohm 1600W 15″ Subwoofer. But yet again I do have some remarks.
To be honest I was little skeptical at first until I did not get this subwoofer. I did not know what to expect but definitely it pays for its money.
First thing I have noticed is the cost. Subwoofers with this power cost a lot more that than the one that is offered here.
At least 80 $ more than the price here. So a little skepticism is understandable, but I gave it a shot, and was pleasantly surprised.
When I take a look at the power the fuzz that it gives it is strong, possibly even a little too strong for my taste. As they say if it is too loud then you are too old.
One of the things that concern me is the electricity consumption. If you leave it on it will drain your battery really fast. I guess one of the good sides is that you will not leave it on “it is loud” lol.
Another concern is that is a bit heavy, I mean 16 pounds that is almost 8 kg. It does its job but I personally think it should be lighter. Let’s say I want to have two of these, it would be like having another person in my car. It would kill your back trunk if you have any.
But if you don’t have it, then you won’t be able to place this “bad boy” in your car at all. It looked smaller on the picture I saw I guess I should have taken a closer look at its dimensions before ordering.
One other thing that we will have to see is the durability here. I believe that in time it will start to lose its power and clarity at higher volume. But it is a subwoofer so not to be too critical it does its job for the money it costs.
The downside here is that it costs some money to rewire this into your car, so you need a good electrician. Be careful not to be ripped off here it shouldn’t cost more than 30 $ to wire it in your car.
One other thing you should know is that it can set fire of your wheedle when it is not wired properly. Choose your electrician wisely and more important – do not do it yourself. I got that covered and now it is all placed.
My friends like it. And when the volume goes up it’s on, shuts my girlfriend up. In any way thumbs up here.
In conclusion, the Cadence subwoofer can and will make the difference in your audio experience, yet it clearly requires a little attention.
There are more subwoofers in commerce. The good news is that their specifications are alike. Moreover, Cadence is world renowned for the high quality standards, so it makes no difference how deeply you want to customize this audio experience – quality will never disappoint you.
